Hi all, just a short update to let you know that we are both safe and well. We went to Phuket, enjoyed our stay at the hotel, nicest we have stayed in yet. Ash was very pleased he could watch the footy whilst being in the bath. The actual location was okay, although like Bangkok you get slightly harassed when you leave the hotel. We then got a not-so-nice ferry over to the Phi Phi islands, the people here were a lot more laid back. One of our days we hired a private longtail boat to the place where The Beach was filmed and also got shown all around the island, including 'Monkey Bay'. At the moment we are staying on an island called Ko Lanta, spending a lot of time just relaxing by the pool and the beach. Will probably spend a few more nights on this island and then head over to Krabi. (To Cousin Sarah - We would like to visit Koa Samui but November is monsoon season and the worst month to visit...) A Happy Birthday to Gemma and belated Dave and Aunty Jeans. Best be off as there is a firedance on the beach......Laters xxx
