Ashley & Sarahs Adventures
Hi everyone, we just spent an hour writing a new journal then the computer went all strange and lost all of our work! Grr. So heres a short version: Melbourne is very good for shopping which we did alot of but all obviously things we needed....., the endless cafes and cakeshops are quality and the cheap frequent trams make it easy to get around i think i have found my future home. Easy for trips to my second home fiji aswel. The neighbours tour was good we stopped at the studio where we met Karl Kennedy who was a good bloke and we went to erinsborough high and ramsey street which was surreal i tell you, I (Ash) went to see a few bands as its great for live music there (Matt download these 2 aussie bands Cog and Sunk Loto) rockin, the victoria national gallery was free so we went there and it was quite interesting alot of well known artists work etc, watched a film in 3d called the ant bully at the imax complex which boasts the biggest screen in the world, went to phillip island to see the parade of the penguins where you wait until the sun is going down and the hundreds of little fairy penguins return home from their days fishing and waddle up the beach past you to their burrows, also that day went to a wildlife place and saw koalas, tazmanian devils, wombats, dingos, a croc and fed some kangaroos. Our last day we spent on the great ocean road which had some great scenery the highlight being the 12 apostles, also stopped at the lighthouse where they filmed the kids show round the twist (have u ever, ever felt like this, where strange things happen are you going round the twist) some of you will remember that classic. So yeh that was melbourne in short were now in Christchurch, leaving for a tour tomorrow around the South island which were hoping will be as amazing as every other traveller seems to be telling us. Look after yourselves all. BYEEEEEEEEEEEE =D
