Well we left cambodia for thailand and landed in Bangkok. We had one night near the airport before our flight to surat thani, and who was in the airport to suprise me... my big sister who had come out on a 2 week hol. Very exciting! We got a flight to Surat thani then a boat ride to Koh Samui with a very tired Lucy. Weather was really good. Koh Samui had a beautiful beach, very touristy though. Lots of lady boys hanging around. We had about 4 nights chilling out on 2 parts of the island in Koh samui before we headed for Koh Pha Ngan and the festivities of the full moon and the warm ups!! Lucy treated us all to luxury accomodation near hat rin beach at a place called cocohut village. It was amazing, right on the beach with an amazing swimming pool. pure luxury. She also did not stop spending money on me and ash the whole time she was there, i think she hated the fact that we were budgeting! Lots of massages were had, lucy was a bit obsessed with them! Koh Pha Ngan was pretty full on, lots of people about and the warm ups to the full moon on the beach were really amazing. Ash had his go on the skipping rope of fire, me and lucy kept saying we would do it one night but got to drunk to even think about it!! HA. The night before the full moon we had a bbq at the hotel which was compulsary, quite expensive but we had to have it so we made sure we ate and drank our moneys worth!! We also met a couple; Alex and Sian. They have just started there 15 month tour of the world which made us very jealous ours is coming to an end. Needless to say we got pretty drunk that night and me and ash were not feeling to good for full moon but we managed to stay out till about 3am on the full moon, but got hardly any sleep as Lucy got in at about 4 and was a bit poorly, so funny to see a drunk Lucy, got a good pic of her hugging the toilet!! haha. The 2 weeks she was with us went way to quick and we all wish she was still here, the weather wasnt amazing when she was out and the day she left we went onto Koh Tao and we had amazing sunshine which was a big shame. But i think she had a god time all the same. lots of shopping was done, lots of relaxing and drinking too!! Which was nice for me as i have been shopping with 2 boys and they are RUBBISH!! Like i said after she left we moved onto Koh Tao which was very small and really a diving town where people go to do cheap diving courses. We opted for a snorkelling day instead with some other people we have met, which was equally amazing, the corals were beautiful around Koh Tao and a really good way to see the island. We also managed to swim with a whale shark, not a fully grown one but about 5 metres long. so amazing, we were really lucky to see it, the guy on the boat got a message over the radio that one was near so we sailed over to it and all jumped in, quite scary though as the first time i looked into the water it was about a foot away and looking straight at me. at that time i wasnt fully aware that they dont eat humans so i was soooo scared. but still so amazing, it was so calm whilst it had paople all the way around it. so that really made the snorkelling trip and we havent stop talking about it since! After that we spent one more day on Koh Tao as the weather was beautiful. We had a day of travelling yesterday and now we have arrived in Krabi, very cheap here but nothing exciting going on so we will be moving onto Phi Phi Don in the morning, which if the weather stays good should be amazing! We have not got long left on our world tour and it is getting very sad. ON the 2nd we fly to Dubai which we are both really looking forward to and we get to see Ash dad which we are both really excited about.
Well im off now, sorry about the lack of pictures but in Dubai we will have a mass upload, so be ready for a day of looking through our south east asia pics!
hope this finds everyone well.
lots of love xxxx
