The super 14's game was so good, it wasn't even full either, but we had a guy sat behind us shouting obsenities towards the other team the whole game which was so funny!!! We spent about a week in sydney, going to Bondi beach, we did the costal walk to some of the other beaches which was beautiful as we had a really nice day for it. We also had an eventfull evening in a hotel room with Smithers mum and dad and 2 of there friends, but that is a story for another time. Alex your mum is a legend!!!!! The view from there apartment was amazing, got some really nice photos of sydney harbour and opera house at night. We also hired out a car and took a trip up to the blue mountains, which was beautiful, but we did go through all the different kinds of weather, sun, rain, wind, snow, hail.... plus i was poorly with a stinking cold, but as we had hired a car with a few other people it meant we could go where we wanted. We cannot seem to put up the blue mountain pics as we have a new camera and the new camera will not read the memory card from the old one **(all sorted,pics are now up,ash may6th)** After Sydney we moved onto Surf camp for the night and a lesson in the morning. The evening was good fun, nights like that where you are secluded away from it all always seem to be good nights, and it gives you a chance to get to know the ppl on the bus and inevitably get quite drunk. We then woke up at 6 in the morning for breakfast and our surf lesson, and surfing is my new hangover cure!!!! It was so much fun, you really do get the bug for it. I think we will definately be practising in Byron Bay which is where we are now, the weather is so nice, we have spent most of the day at the beach and of course our first night in Cheeky Monkeys (for anyone who has been here before) was a good laugh!!! We have got one of the shared apartments at the holiday village hostel, so nice when you have been used to dorms for so long!!! We are spending about a week here as the atmosphere is so good and of course for the beach!!!
