So we left new zealand after having a really enjoyable month there meeting new people and experiencing a totally different culture and headed for aussie land! we managed to catch an earlier connecting flight from sydney to melbourne leaving us abit more time to work out melbournes tram network. we stayed just outside of melbourne in a place called st kilda beach, Which was lovely when the weather was nice. Managed to do all the touristy things in melbourne, seeing the MCG the telstra dome... walked around the city, went to the beach on nice days. We also went to an exhibition called 'game on' which was an intractive history of computer games from the beginning right up until the present day. So cool, started off playing ms pacman then ended up on the wii. We got on the bus from melbourne to Sydney last tuesday and it wasnt what we had expected, coming from our massive bus in NZ to this little 24 seater!!! But it was good all the same, had a good bus load of people which always makes it better, the travel to sydney was long, 3dyas 2 nights, but we saw some amazing sights along the way, along with some kangaroos!! We did a 12km hike up a mountain which was painful, im so glad it wasnt 30 degrees!!! In Sydney now, Went to see the opera house and harbour last night all lit up. Off to see a super 14's game later so excited about that. Mostly a lot of sight seeing as we have been in big cities. But the weather has picked up now so beaches here we come.
