So sorry that this is the first time we have had to update this but we havent really had the chance before now. If there are letters missed out then it is because this internet is so slow.

We met with Tm and his family in Kenya and stayed at Karen Camp. We went for breakfast i n his house and exchanged gifts. It was really nive of them to cook us such a big meal. Everyone was lovely. We also visited one of Tom's friends and se cooked us lunch. So we had two lovely traditional african meals,. We met some nice guys from Oasis overland travels and we sat and drank with them a few nights. It was a good four days before the tour started. We visited the giraffe sanctuary as well.

We started the tour on monday morning (it is now Wed). We drove for two days solid pretty much to make it here, to Uganda. We are staying n a camp called Adrift. Im sure if you look it up on the internet you will see it. It is in a place called Jinja. We've had a few probs trying to change money but its all ok now. Everyone on the tour sems lovely. And the leader is really nive too.

We went on a little boat trip today to see the source of the nile. It is were thelake victoria ends and the nile begins. Tomorrow we are going white water rafting at grade 5 so that should be scary. Not ad much sun yet, it is very overcast and quite rainy here, but still very very warm. We should have been heading straight to Rwanda to see Gorillas but someone missed the truck leaving so we stayed here to let him catch up/ We will be here for two more nights, then drive to Kampala, then Kisoro and then into Rwanda to see the gorillas. Apparently they can get quite close so that will be really scary but a great experience.

The truck is very bumpy on the road as there are so many pothioles. The roads here are terrible. It is quite funny though when people get thrown from their seats.

The camp we are n just now is on te nile and we have an amazing view. There are little monkeys running around camp too.

Will hopefully write again in Kampala.
