on the way to jindabyne we visited the parliament house which was everything you can imagine a parliament house to be like. i spent most of the journey in a huff because of my new hair which looked increasingly red.haha, poor jonny.
canberra was just plain wierd, it was too well thought out, and very clearly a purpose built city. i just dint really like it to be honest, and its miles inland too.
just before we arrived at the hostel in the mountains i spotted a wombat out the bus window, so i shouted wombat really loudly without really thinking and we all got off the bus to have a look. (its rare to see them in the wild) we were all standing on the grassy verge and it just ran towards everyone so we all got a good look, it was fab, it really made my day. i now love wombats! they are like massively overgrown hamsters.
that night... we were staying in a ski lodge which was really nice, with really good food (and adventure tours hadnt realised me and jonny were supposed to pay like $180 each to continue our pass from carins hehe) which made us feel a bit better as the whole bus thing was very overpriced and everything was charged extra. so because it wasnt ski season we played shot ski... which was a ski with 4 holes cut out and 4 shot glasses put in and four people have to drink the shots without touching the ski, haha. it was a really good night and i got alot of free drinks through various games haha.
the group we travelled with were also a really good group and we got on really well.
