And we're off! Already very pleased with ourselves by including this stopover in Iceland :) the first major hurdle has been crossed (are we going to write about our trip? Answer: we're going attempt possibly trying to write every now and then maybe... though apparently Q needs to read the book by Jules Verne first because the blog tittle miffed her).

Iceland is barren by the way. Like seriously no trees! Other than that it has an interesting look with an astonishing blue sea for some reason. Q has chosen our accommodation, Reykjavik Backpackers hostel, well and after a quick jaunt through Reykjavik, including the best hot dog to be found here (we are wondering why so many of our trips revolve around food) we are now enjoying local Icelandic brews pondering what to eat back in our hostel...
