Today, after hearing my dad talk about the houses my paternal grandfather built in Bend, I decided to find out where these houses are and get pictures of them. Remembering what my dad said of the areas that he lived at in Bend when he was a child, I was able to find two of the houses. That afternoon, I went and paid a visit to Kari and then went out again to dinner with Aunt Rita.

Today I drove back to Portland to visit Scott one last time. When I got there, Scott and I went to the eastside of Portland to work on the gutters of an apartment complex. Once we were done, we returned to Beaverton and went to the library to watch a presentation on 9/11. After that, we went to Romano's Macaroni Grill for dinner. I ended up staying the night at his house and returned to Bend the next morning.

This morning my parents took me out into the high desert east of Bend to an area where we could go shooting. I learned for the first time how to shoot a .22 long rifle that belonged to my grandfather. It was a lot of fun. That evening my aunt took me out to dinner at Applebee's restaurant.

Today I helped Mom choose and purchase a new computer, printer, and accessories for a family friend named Brooke. We went to the Best Buy in Bend to do this, as it is less expensive to purchase things in Oregon than it is in California.

Today is my first full day in Bend. I don't plan on doing much today, other than to get pictures of the Cascade Mountains and other hills around Bend from the top of Pilot Butte. So that is all I actually went and did today.
