Tonight I finally returned to Turlock after a long and enjoyable trip to Oregon. I can't wait to do it again in two years after I return from my overseas deployment.

This is a picture of Mount Shasta that I took while taking a short break at the Weed Airport rest area north of Weed, CA.
Lakehead, California
This is one of the few rest breaks I am taking on my trip to Portland, OR. This rest area is located near Lake Shasta in Northern California.
Turlock, California
Today I leave for Oregon for two weeks. This is my single travel day, with five stops along the way. Two of those stops will be for gas and/or food, and the other three will be used for short walks to keep me awake and relaxed.
