Group 2 arrived in Lukla! What an interesting flight it was! Landing in the mountains....uphill! Amazing panorama as this little town is 2800m high, is the base for nearly all Everest expeditions! The staring point for our travels too.... Our guide, Devan, a Napali and wonderful guy, is busy getting his team of Sherpas organized. They will transport all equipment for us, as well as for all other expeditions going on trail. I don't know at the moment how many port...

Here it is: last night for a while in a comfortable bed, I am sure.... After a day in the city, a crazy one that is, we arrived back at the hotel in the afternoon. A last brief of the trip and of our day tomorrow, we received our duffle bags with the equipment still needed i.e. sleeping bag and jacket! I still had to go into town again to get a some last minute things. When checking the mountain gear stores, I could not believe the selection and prices these good...

First night in Nepal! I think the entire group was more sleepwalking than being awake!! Arrived at the hotel. For a brief check-in and refreshment... Trekking brief on the hotel lawn with distribution of some equipment - sleeping bag, down jacket and a duffle bag...all of which are going to be our best friends over the coming weeks.... Weight limit for our trek is 15kgs....I will have to loose some of my luggage weight for tomorrow's flight to Lukla! We all sle...

Hey, hey....here we go! A very long trip actually got me to Katmandu! Over 25 traveling hours....and now, we have arrived! An interesting journey, with cultural highlights! One of them was walking into a bathroom inside the Mumbai airport (international transfers) and without delay, my bladder decided to want to rid itself of excess fluid..... So, I went to the bathroom, and experienced the most amazing curry smell I thought I could ever get in a place like this....

Time to go!!! Finally, on the one hand....excitement and on the other hand, I am going to miss all the people I love! Keep well everyone! Will miss you all! Especially you Daniel....:) Love you!
