Here it is: last night for a while in a comfortable bed, I am sure.... After a day in the city, a crazy one that is, we arrived back at the hotel in the afternoon. A last brief of the trip and of our day tomorrow, we received our duffle bags with the equipment still needed i.e. sleeping bag and jacket! I still had to go into town again to get a some last minute things. When checking the mountain gear stores, I could not believe the selection and prices these goods were offered at! For my two alpine walking sticks (Leki), a aluminum water bottle (Sik), a pair of Goretex gloves and a microfiber towel, I paid 25USD!! At home I would have not been able to even get one walking stick....say no more...! Learning to do things like the locals do....

After arriving back home - our base, the Yak & Yeti hotel, we decided to go for a last evening meal as our early supper, before we had to go and pack all our equipment! When Devan, our trek leader, told us that we are only allowed a total of 15kgs per passenger on the flight to Lukla tomorrow, the mood for some changed....all the stuff we bought! What now....? I was in a similar predicament, as I also had a little too much equipment with me... And then of course, I needed to pack everything into ziplog bags, just to make sure everything will remain dry and protected in case of a sudden thunder shower.....

Now, all done! I am pleasantly tired today and will go for a nice shower! After that, off to bed.... What an exciting day is waiting for us tomorrow morning at 4am...!? Cannot wait!
