7/1/06 Woke up at 4.30am to get ready for a 6am check-out! We were on our way to the Whitsunday Islands. Once on the coach we headed south towards Townsville where we stopped for breakfast. Between Townsville and Airlie beach where we were going to catch the ferry to Long Island we all had to introduce ourselves and we had to answer loads of embarrassing questions! Once at Airlei Beach we had to drop off some of our group cos they were going on a two day sail so we got a chance to check out Airle and do some shopping so we could have food for the island as some of our meals were not included! However, when we returned to the coach the two day sail lot hadn't gone cos their boat had caught fire lol , i shouldn't laugh but it was funny! As there was no space on the island for them they had to stay and we headed to Shute's Harbour to catch the ferry to the island! As we approached the island it was really beautiful and we had to walk up2 our resort and then we were given our rooms! We were sharing with 4 other people and it was a tight squeeze especially to get ready! Can u imagine 5 girls trying to use one bathroom! After we got ready for dinner we headed out of our room and right in front there were loads of free roaming wild wallabies and they were not scared at all of people! We then went to bed about 10pm! But before I got quite a few calls to say happy birthday and I was saying its not even the 8th here yet but was funny!
