Lima is a crazy city. I am staying in Miraflores, the nicer modern area of Lima. So far, it has been safe and interesting. Tomorrow I will be taking a bus from Lima to Cusco. It will be about 20 hours long! I am not looking forward to it. It is tourist season here so it is taking a lot longer than planned to buy available tickets to certain areas. So far I have been touring the city. I forgot my camera for most of the cool places. that sucks. oh well. I took some pics of the beach area and my tour guide. I missed out on taking pics of the inner city, a castle, the presedents house, mayors house, catherdrals, main streets, and more interesting places. maybe i can return to the city center when i get back from Cusco in 4 or 5 days. We will see. The weather has been nice so far. Its cold at nice, but jeans and T shirt or sweatshirt weather during the day. The sun is out only part of the day. the rest of the day it is gray and smoggy, but that is because i am in a huge city. Cusco will be a lot colder. I guess I better bundle up! Oh mom, I guess now I see why you insisted on bringing the vest. I'm gonna freeze! I made room for it, but will probably through it out as soon as i am through with the cold weather. Argentina will be even colder. It is winter in South America! BRRRR I am going to miss Central America's perfect temperatures. And nice beaches.
