Hey everyone! I just arrived in Antigua Guatemala. Guatemala City wasn't much of a place I would like to be for a long time. There is a lot of poverty & it looks like a mob town. The city buses are called chicken buses, probably because they are packed until arms and legs are sticking out. Antigua is nice tho. It has a enormous volcano very close by. I will get pictures later, it's raining now. The temperature is a bit colder than I expected. It is in the 60's. I guess it is because of the elevation of 5000 feet. This is such a beautiful country! It has about 35 volcanos, 17 which are active. It has been a very long day of travel for me. I finally got to my hostel called party jungle. It looks like a vacation resort for travelers. the cener is open to the outside with a bar & tons of hamoks & beenbag chairs everywhere. I wish I brought the video camera. Pictures just wont give this place justice. I'm going to go find some chow, I'm starving!
