We met up with Sean and Janine at Krabi pier on our way to Koh Phi Phi. Once we got there we left our bags with some of Sean's friends and began searching for a room on a budget, which is not easy on Phi Phi. After finding a room that was okay we settled in and all headed out for dinner. Later that night we went to the reggae reggae bar where people fight in Thai boxing for free drinks, it was hilarious. The next day the six of us chartered a long tail boat to Maya beach, where "The Beach" was filmed. It was the most amazing beach we have ever seen, the sand felt like talcum powder and the sea was turquoise which you could see to the bottom of. Everyone minus Angie went snorkelling and saw many fish and sea cucumbers. That night we all sat in a beach bar and had a good old giggle.

On our final day we headed to Monkey beach where we took bananas and bottles of water for the monkeys. It was so much fun, they would catch the bananas and take the water and drink from the bottles. Antonio decided to give one monkey the bottle with the lid on to see if they cold unscrew it themselves. The answer however was no and they were not very happy and after trying to unscrew it unsuccessfully the monkey threw the bottle on the floor and three of them chased Antonio in to the sea! Once a lot of people arrived on the beach the monkeys became irate so we left and went to another beautiful beach called long beach.
