Woohoo! Jet skiing , went around the island of Key West. A and K 2 hrs on a ski, but next time Kathy might like to take one. (if the waters are calm) It got a bit bumpy in the Atlantic but the Gulf of Mexico was relatively calm. It was fun, beaut scenery but a bit bumpy for Kathy hanging on.

Got off boat by 7; very efficient. Drove from Cocoa Beach, Pt Canaveral to Key West, at the end of the Florida Keys- highway 1. Not a fast trip. All along the Keys the going was very slow. The trip ended up taking 7& 1/2 hours. Key West seems to be a fascinating place though, quite bohemian. Plenty shops, bars and places to hang out. Lots of water sport activities too. Kathy and I are going on jet ski around Key West tomorrow. Such thrill seekers; haha.

Last 2 days very hectic; sleeping, reading, eating and drinking on ship. Get off boat at Pt Canaveral and head for Key West , Saturday 23rd. Another nervous day for Kathy as I drive to Key West. She'll need a couple of drinks along the way, or certainly when we get there.

St Maarten, not as nice as other islands. Beachside ok, but we are spoilt with Australian beaches. The tour around island was interesting, half French, half Dutch??. Quite poor and messy in most places.
