From San Marco square took a walking tour and Grand canal tour. It persisted in raining. Very uncomfortable, and didn't see much at all on canal tour as taxi windows fogged, and heaving water made us feel line heaving. Still interesting day. Great dinner at Gino's. Finally found out what the platforms on the pathways were.... For flooding, and so were out for full moon (high tides) at Easter.
