After transit of 30+ hours including stopovers we arrived in Venice. We took a wrong turn out of the airport (or rather forgot to turn) and had to hurdle car park guard rails to find our water taxi. It took us to our hotel, checked in and off we go exploring, finding shops, cafes, a nice bar and lovely restuarant for dinner. After our flights we were struggling to stay awake, so back to hotel for early night.
