A&K's 'ventures
Part 3 of the day was the tour of the Protestant (Reformation / Luther/ Melancthon) Cathedral called the Berlin Dome. It has an incredible history, due to the political workings of the then ruling monarch, but also due to WW2. It has been reconstructed and is a wonderful place of worship. Aside from the tour in the afternoon, we went back for evening worship at 6pm. Kathy said that the pipe organ (1072 pipes) and accompanying wind orchestra in that setting with those acoustics provided some of the best music she had ever heard. Magnificent.
PS check out the statues in the church of Luther, Melancthon, Zwigliand Calvin.
