What a day! Started at Mt Princeton, with a hot springs soak. Travelled north to Brecken Ridge via Fairplay (South Park), then on to Keystone. Continued sharing Mueller stories all the way. Chair lift ride up to summit , picnic of wine and cheese (or beer) and gondola ride down. Magnificent scenery again. Del and Pete live in this beautiful old home, built in 1885. They have a full history of the place, which includes restorations and details of the original owners. Emma, the first occupant died while living here, and is still a friendly inhabitant, (ghost) so they say, though we haven't met her yet. 4th of July gathering at the Hokansons. Hot dogs and beer. Big flags and hot weather today, fire works and explosions. Picture not the best... tried to get the big flag hanging inside, but got mostly door... my eyesight failing.
