Tour day 6. An early start as we wanted to explore more of the gorge early morning before the daily rush of tourists began. After we made our way to the Atlas Film Studios where many Hollywood movies like gladiator, the mummy and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed. Another beautiful hotel awaited us, with another huge pool. That night we were treated to a Moroccan cooking class where we mastered the secrets of moroccan meatballs, cous cous and chicken targine. We also tried fig liqueur, a local favorite that will not be found nor favored outside Morocco. Finally the ladies tried out the works of a local henna tattoo artist whilst the men gathered to smoke shesha and finish the fig liqueur.
