So today, Mat, his sister Kristy, and her boyfriend Colin called round. Mat was down from Wangaratta to help Kristy and Colin move into their new apartment in Melbourne. Mat kindly invited us to Wang for Christmas. Apparently his parents are expecting us to accept and as Hannah spent Christmas there while on her travels, we look forward to experiencing some Saunders family hospitality. As we will be at the first day of the Melbourne test match on Boxing Day it will be an early start leaving Wang in time to get back for the 11 am start. After Mat and co had left we packed up and going via South Melbourne market to pick up suitable barbie meat, headed for Albert Park where there are public barbecues And picnic tables to use. Flocks of Parakeets flew around us and there were black swans on the lake. As the temperature today was near 30c the park with its huge lake was breezy and cooler than the centre of Melbourne. The road round the perimeter of the park is also used as the Grand Prix circuit.
