Another good day. I hired a car with Rubenna from Austrailia, Matumi from Japen and Kiwei from China. Rubenna and I shared the driving. We visited Lake Maligne, Medicine, Annette and Edith as well as Maligne Canyon. A good day was had by all. The weather was cold and changable but we all took some good pictures with the changing light. Lake Edith was the last lake we visited and the lighting was spectacular. I have never seen a lake so perfectly still. The colours were so vivid and sharpe. We didn't want to leave Lake Edith. We left around 10.30pm. It was a long day but well worth it. I now have confidence to hire a car and drive. However, I would only contemplate it if I'm out of the cities and major towns. I'm staying one more night here in Jasper before I start making my way back to Vancauver. Tonight I will be staying at the wilderness hostel where there is no electric or running water.....
