Got up at 10, went for breakfast and chilled in the room till tubing o'clock!

Dear family members, as you all know, I'm tea total! But as tubing is made for drinking and doing very stupid stuff, you won't like this blog so do me a favour and don't read it. Seriously.

Walked to the tubing service centre, realised we didn't have enough money, walked back to the guest house and then walked back to the tubing place! What I hassle! It cost 55000 kip (£4.44) for the tubing which includes a 20 minute tuktuk there and then you have to pay a deposit of 60000 (£4.85) and if you come back before 6pm you get it back.

We had to sign a contract that had all sorts of stuff like, if you break the tube you pay for it, if your late you pay for it, it you lose your tube you pay for it, if you die it's not our fault and not to drink while tubing! So signed my life away!

By the time we had paid for our deposit we realised we had the equivalent of £3 each for the day! Great !

Michael did not want to go tubing and I had to force him to do it as you have to while your in Laos! Everyone does! So we compromised to only do it for an hour... 8 hours later we still were still on the river, having lost all our possessions, drowning and having left all our dignity somewhere upstream!

Met a couple of girls called Jackie and Cici from New York in the tuktuk on the way there! Ended up sticking with them all day!!

We got dropped off at one side of the river, got on a boat to the other side to the first bar on the strip! It was called 'Q Bar' it was crazy! Before we stepped foot in the bar we had all received free shots, bracelets and been drawn all over!

Me and Michael shared a whiskey and red bull bucket, baring in mind I hate whiskey and red bull but it was the cheapest at 30000 (£2.40)! Can't go wrong! There isn't any activities at this bar apart from beer ping pong! Met another couple of girls Allie and Cat and stayed as a group of 6 all day!

Before getting on tubes we got drawn on all over by these boys advertising another bar! It was called star bar and they couldn't draw stars as they had drank to much.... I need this job!

Got on our tubes to go to the next bar, the water was cold! As its rained the last couple of nights the water was high and fast! We had to hold hands to all stick together!

Allie and Cat let go and drifted down the river having to walk back to find us later!

Got to star bar and got talking to a couple of boys that work there, they asked me where I'm from and I said Yorkshire and I kid you not he said 'you must be from Hull then as people from there don't admit it' hahaha! Stupid Cornwall boys! They gave us more free bracelets and shots though!

Met up with Allie and Cat again! You could play shower twister here! We ended up playing drunk Jenga, each brick has a dare on it including, swap clothes, mine sweep, beer funnel upside down, belly shots, streaking, silly dancing, kissing etc etc etc!

We didn't really play this though as we were playing drunk cards! God only know the rules of this game! I could barley see the numbers let alone anything else! It was something to do with drinking ...

So all 6 of us finished a couple of buckets and hopped on our tubes! We all got split up so I just screamed 'throw me a rope' at a random bar and when we couldn't catch it he ran along the side of the river catching us! Don't know where everyone else went but me, Cat and Jackie trekked through some rice fields back to the bar!

Met the others again! I dont have the knowlede of this bars name but it was really high up compared to the rest! It had 20 meter high jumps into the river! I didnt even notice these until we left and someone nearly jumped on me though! That's another story ...

There was showers everywhere in this bar, with massive dance floors and amazing views! Me and Michael got real Tyra Banks about life in pictures! A lot of them are ... Interesting.

Michael came up to me as someone had left there iPhone on the side of the dance floor! What idiots! I hate people like this who couldn't care less about expensive stuff, we grabbed it and went to hand it in, we clicked unlock, and it was Michael's iPhone. I killed him, he obviously found it hilarious though!

Got more free stuff thrown at us like shots, bracelets and whatever else! They make you love them so you don't leave and buy more drinks! Apparently they spike drinks as well but non of us were spiked!

Got back on our tubes heading to the next bar and this moron started giving it loads about how I was floating near the jump, I'm floating you idiot how can we help it! Oh man, he knew my views on him, I seem to remember a beer bottle? Won't go into that though!

Floated to the next bar, it had a trapeze and 15 meter ladder and a real beaut boy working there! We all got spray painted, I had pink love hearts!

We all jumped off the edge, and did the trapeze, I have no idea how! Some definate belly flops were going down! There is millions of photos and videos of this! I chipped a tooth here but didn't realise till later on! Oh well! Going to Vietnam soon I'll but a whole new set for £10! SOLD!

I don't think me or Michael paid for a drink here but remember buckets of horrible tasting stuff. Very responsible. I think this random guy gave us them as his friends had left!

The toilets are like 3 bits of bamboo strung together with cob webs and a hole in the ground! No exsaduration (no idea how to spell that) needed!

It was already half past 6 and to get your full deposit back you had to be back by 6! We had till 8 when the tube station shut and it takes an hour to float back and 10 minutes walking, so logically we stayed out!

So got back on our tubes and floated to the next bar next door. This one had jumps, a huge zip wire and a massive slide. It was so much fun! I was to small to reach the zip wire so some random guy had to lift me! Very safe considering we are 20 meters high! Oh well! I was flying!! I let go just before the end of the wire as you get flipped because it just stops and I was messy anyway!

It was getting real late and some of the bars started closing as it would be dark soon! Good old michael decided to try and sell me to these Laos guys if he could have another go on the zip wire! Fabulous. Two of these Laos creeps chasing after me! They take this selling stuff seriously!!!!

Got back on our tubes at 7 thinking it would only be 10 minutes as advertised as we did not want to be floating in the Mekong River in the dark!

Half an hour later it was dark, it was beaut watching the sun go down behind the mountains but seriously there is grass snake, alligators, monsters and dinosaurs in this river!

We kept losing hold of each other and going through rapids alone! It was funny at the time but really! We could have died where is health and safety!

A guy threw us a rope and offered us a tuktuk to the main town so we accepted as the end didn't seem anywhere close! Got out of the tube and realised my shoes were gone! GREAT! I now am the proud owner of 0 pairs of shoes after losing one shoe the other day!

After we got onto the river bank we realised Jackie wasn't with us. Knowing that 33 people have died tubing so far this year we freaked out but stayed calm in front of each other! We did float into some other tubers on the river and she must have stayed with them!

Got back to the tubing station and got a third of my deposit back 20000 (£1.60) and waited for Jackie to see if she turned up but she didn't! Went back to the room, got ready and I went to meet Cici, Jackie, Cat and Allie as Michael didn't want to come and was still very drunk anyway!

Met the girls at the restaurant on the corner and ate together! Don't know why we havnt eaten here before it was beaut! Decided to go to party island but just as we set off it started chucking it down! Bare in mind I don't have any shoes on as I only have one left flip flop to my name!

Stopped under a shelter and got some roadies which I learnt was drinks on the road! Hmm! On the way to the island a million flyers were handed to me stating how much they want to fill my bucket and 'drink triple, see double and act single! DONE! Walked over a wooden bridge in the pitch black and went to bucket bar!

We all sat and played cards for a bit, some random guy came over and offered me a job in the bar! It would be amazing ......

After bucket bar we walked home! Tubing wares you out man! It's Jackie and Cici's last night so said goodbye to them and arranged to meet Allie and Cat tomorrow for more tubing!
