am sorry- just saw message in all its glory and its an essay- am a little embarassed by how much space it is taking up!!

gave mum ur pressie-she really really likes them, and the way they twinkle!! am off school today becasue...... i missed the bus!! (same thing happened last tues)!!am a lil scared though bcos mum should be home any minute and she said if i missed bus again would not be able to get later bus to school again- my tuesday late morning s may be at an end!! trying to thnk of any other home news, -as have got a lil bored and the alternative to thhis is tidying my room. -it is now only tidy enough for one person to be in at a time ( and then the only option is sitting on the bed- the path to the mirror , wardrobe etc is v hazardous!), and im dreading wat could be in various plastic bags!!ohh dad got his new car- it is so nice, had a lot of fun pressing all the different things and finding cubby holes-has cup holders for the back seats!! however dad has decided to ban food- where am i going to eat my breakfast!! have managed to wear him down on the drinks- persuaded him, cup holders could not go to waste!!- he nearly fainted though( bit of an exaggeration) wen i got in with a milkshake!! little else to tell- easter hols at end of this week- cant wait, altho will have to revise or spend time feeling guilty about not revising!! sorry for rambling, bt thougt might like to hear mundane details of family life (seriously).lots and lots of love, and i think to stay in mums goodbooks need to take/upload more photos- u no how keen she is on the art of photography!! lots and lots of love again xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Great photos Annie! You look to be having a good time and to have some nice people in your group. I hope you are looking forward to meeting up with Pip and the others at the end of the month but you still have lots of time on your trip to see wonderful things and fill up the little pink book. lol Kate x

Hi Annie,  It sounds is if you are having a great time!!  I had a lovely time in Sri Lanks with Pip and John but it was sad leaving them behind when I came home.  We were all thinking about you the other night and wondering how you were getting on so it is lovely to read your journal.  Very brave of you to set off on your own so we are all really pleased to see you are having fun.  I hope the pink book is useful!!! lol  Kate
