HAPPY EASTER! We have been thinking of you a great deal. We have been having a lovely day and have just come back from a stroll round the lake - me , Grandpa and Ross in the late sunshine - really delightful. There is Easter cheer awaiting you in the form of chocolate, so don't worry on that score! Just thinking of you saying you will come home as planned. The minute you get home you won't be homesick any more, so I would make sure you are coming home because there is nothing more you want to do, rather than because of the tug of the heartstrings, (which is only natural after all, especially now you have been away a while.) A couple of weeks more may make a lot of difference in terms of what you might be able to do, and you could still getr back in time to work on the asparagus, which sounds a lot of fun too. Have you met up with Claudia and Co. yet? Will you get the chance to see them before you come home? How are they doing and any news of Jo yet?

Don't really like having to write under a pseudonym but everyone so quick to find fault ... Aineehow, after two years of whizzing past Rockingham Castle we thought we might drop in and have a look and as you learned 'twas shut, so we had a sandwich and went back home. Love the photos (ladyman excepted) & dress beyond chic. Grandpa well (and educational as ever!) and I know sends love. Hope you can find each other Easter Eggs.

looks like mum is losing her touch- the last message is but a note!!- Dont worry i have been leaning over her shoulder, making sure nothing too embarassing creeps in- she needed remarkably little (act none) censoring!! Shes obviously learning!!

Although the pics are great (and who is the hunky ((cant think of a word that describes good looking and not feel a little stupid writing it)) across the table from you- spill all the gossip!! But i do not feel at all sorry for you about the loo- it looks lovley and clean!!- if it was the bucket next to it then i would have felt for sorry for you!!

You do look great and so tanned and love the dress, i can already feel the green eyed monster mounting- im not going to be able to stand next to you for months without scaring small children (and probs grown men) with my whiteness!!

Hi darling - its getting harder to write to you than ever because now I also want to catch up on what everyone is saying - this new technology can be fun! Anyway, love, love , love the photos. It all looks so wonderful and you look absolutely gorgeous. Is that little black dress one you had made? Its fabulous. We're all on course to meet you on 21st if you are coming that day, but lets just confirm the details about date, time and airport - and terminal. We've had a surreal time with cousin Sarah trying on Ouma's wedding dress and veil this evening which everyone has worn and then to think of visiting Ouma on Monday. She now has this Hospital type infection called C. difficile but now she's back in hodspital so hope it will clear up soon. Auntie Jilly and Auntie Vicky were both briefly ill with something very similar but are OK now. We are off to the Needhams for Easter lunch on Easter Mon. tho they only get back on Sun and Auntie Sara has got her leg in a brace as has torn a ligament in her knee - don't know haow that is going to affect things with Ouma, who may come out on Thurs. all being well. Gareth at last conversation is doing further exams in June, so don't know if he can travel meanwhile.

It's been absolutely lovely having Sarah T here - she made us a really delicious meal tonight and has given me the recipe.

am feeling a little pressure to keep the wj saga prime time tv- to be honest there seems to be a bit of a shortage ( i hope) of murders, adultery, kidnapping, falling into wells without food or water (act that does not make sense- try an unknown cellar ((wells usually have water- just in case im not making my thought processes clear enough)) or such like to provide juicy material!!- maybe ill have to push loo into the pond or something- a near drowning would add some drama to commentary on eniyd blytons writing skill- i would LOVE the tape by the way- thats very sweet, thankyou!!

But sarah (as in cousin sarah) is here which is great- shes cooking supper as i type-( she wanted to- not slave labour!)- now that would have been a good plot- a cinderellaesque twist!! its great to see her- apparently its been 6 years since she last came over- i was but a babe of 11!!

Went shopping today and am lusting after the nicest dress that for once matches my hair- no pink in sight!! Everybody else went on a trip to some castle ( probs not quite so homesick now !!) however sadly it was not the culturally enriching experience they were hoping- it was shut!!

I cant believe i havent mentioned photos yet- it looks so beautiful- cant believe ur probs lazing on a beach somewhere right now- and act haha- im also looking at a beautiful beach-(sadly Brackley has not become an overnight beach resort) its shipwrecked:battle of the islands!!-altho u do get to drool over the v.hunky stuart!!

Got to go to supper- ahh and mums just reminded need to do cats- a little stupid (act a lot -taken over duty from eliza- it does not sit well with my laziness streak!!) just called again must run!!

I'm pleased adopted mummy there was someone there, i woudl die for a cup of pg tips!!! Kate will you tell daddy, sent him an email to his demon account. Like my adopted mummy, i also long the WJ saga, so keep it up, its brill! My fix instead of tv! Hi Annie, Just tunigng in for todays episode of my favourite soap- (a bit like 'The Archers' by e mail!) and to let you know that I called in to your parents yesterday on my way to collect Peter and had a lovely cup of tea in the garden with your Daddy and briefly saw your Mummy and sisters before I left. It was a nice way to break the journey from here to Oxford and back! I will add to the 'more photo's please' call and hope one of you puts a few up. lol Kate PS I think we have your favourite book, as mentioned by Kate, on tape. huh no need to sound so surprised sister dear- i am the creator of such comedy gold ( or ok maybe bronze) as Miss Manners, oh! (scraping the barrell a little- thinking of the top of my head has never been my strong point (probably becasue i get dizziness from its great height- dont worry if dont understand that latest gem, im not sure i do either- something to do with how much ive grown!)- ahh writing all those brackets has made me forget my other comedy classic bt it was a good one!! anyway so there we go!!- Now ive started down memory road trying to jog other examples- ive just remembered when we used to have that cough which would signal to come out at night and sit at each end of the corridor to do charades, try and decide what we wanted for christmas, discuss meaness of parents etc- it brings a tear to ones eye- and also probs destroys any cool reputation u ever might have had ( or me bt im not hopeful!)!! again off subject but thought the WJ family saga would need some background!! ( and ill suggest the lashings of ginger beer to mum, im sure itll go down well!) Loo was right yesterday was lovely weather me and grandpa went for a walk around the pocket park- thats quite a perfect eniyd blyton setting with the island in the middle- do u rememeber my favourite ever book - the secret island- ahhh genius, i keep it close by at all times, it is the book equivalent of prozac ( im assuming that im right that prozac are happy pills) nd i wore flip flops and mid length trousers- ahh the excitement never stops- the first flip flop outing of the year!!- altho did then go to emily bedfords and watch four films and have food brought in while the sun shone outside- my legs aren't going to get freckled if i carry on like this!! ( i live in eteranl hope that one day theyll join together and ill be as brown as you and elizas sickening easy to tan legs)!!- anyway loo wants to come on comp (damn half an hour rule)- also the greatesrt excitement of my day is just before i see whether or not uve posted more pictures so hurry up, or i will continue to lead an excitementless existence!! bye bye, lots of love xxxxx

hey hunny bee, sounds like ur havin a fantastic time, wen u get bak im expecting u 2 b posiitively chocl8 colourd wit all tht sunbathin ur doin!! i hav 2 say im rather jealous, i went off on an adventure 2 a park yestrday wit sum frnds, to find on arrival that sum lil kids wer playing in the playground. on deciding tht it wudnt b nice 2 go n kick them out we decided 2 do a spot of sunbathing, however to my horror on rolling up my trouser legs i found tht my legs wer so white tht thy wer actually reflecting sun so much it lkd as tho sum1 had turnd a lite on! i was rather embarasd n had 2 cover up quickly, i think im gonna hav 2 do a lot more sunbathin in the bak gardn b4 lettin my legs out agen!! kate has startd 2 do lots of revision n so i hav bin out of the house as much as pos 2 avoid the "eliza make ma a cup of tea" "bring me biscuits" slave labour tht usually follows. for pretty much the first time in my life mum n dad hav given me a curfew (suppertime) altho seemingly theyv decided 2 stop lettin me out afta it 2! ( 3 times in a wk) i hav 2 say nt overly impresd!!

its very nice weathr atm, luvly n sunny, tht type of weathr were u just hav 2 hav an ice cream altho i hav 2 say i havnt actually had 1 yet!! iv now pretty much completely run out of shoes ( an impossible feat i no bt sumhow i managed it) and havnt rele had a n oportunity 2 restock as of yet.

Hi Annie, You probably know, or Pip will tell you, how much I love watching ANY soap - well now I have another - the WJ family saga. I have become adicted to reading Kate's messages!! You should keep these pages and print them off and keep them to re-read in years to come. They are really great!! I think the 'The Brackly 4 go to Blakeney' could be a best seller Remind them to take potted meat snadwiches and lashings of ginger beer!! Have a great time sun bathing - I did not see any of the massage and pedicure stuff on Pippa's journal so it is good you are keeping me up to date with what she is up to! See you both soon.
