We've spent 5 days on Koh Samui on Chaweng Beach, staying at a great little place called Penzy's Guesthouse. Penzy and her American husband David are really friendly and have made us feel right at home here! The place is just a short walk from Chaweng Beach, which is a perfect white-sand-clear-water paradise. The beach is about 7km long and we are down towards the south end of it, which is apparently the quieter end. The beach is lined with resorts all the way up, but we have managed to find spots each morning (some days in the shade because the sun is really scorching here). We've also eaten a lot of delicious thai food, sushi, seafood and other stuff, and generally lazed around, which is just what we need before we get home and get busy again in a few days. The most active thing we've done was a day trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park, which was awesome :)

The first day we arrived here we were stopped by some guys who roped us into one of those vacation club talks for a couple of hours, but we got shown a gorgeous 5-star resort and got given a free week's holiday to take in the next year (excl flights). No we didn't sign up for anything!
