To mandalay

Set the alarm for 5.50 for a 6.30 departure from Peacock Lodge, as the taxi ride to the airport took an hour, and our flight to Heho airport took off at 8.45am.

Arrived in at Heho at 9.15 as scheduled, and met our pre-arranged pick-up to take us the hour journey to our hotel (Princess Garden Hotel just out of Nyaungshwe). Set alarm for 5.00, in order to take our pre-arranged 5.30 taxi (which would be escorting us throughout the day) to our first pre-arranged stop to watch the sunrise and walk over U'bein"s bridge.
