Hiya peeps!

We made it to Da Lat after a whole day stuck on a bus struggling to make it uphill. We spent the day touring round Da Lat with some 'Easy Riders' (they're in the Lonely Planet and everything so don't panic mum!) called Loc and Tin Tin. We visited farmers, flower farms, coffee plantations, mushroom farms, silk factories and numerous pagodas as well as a cool waterfall.

Tomorrow we're off on a four day tour of the central highlands, which takes us through the Vietnamese jungle and along the Ho Chi Minh trail, it's a complete change of plans and means no beach time (sorry Kate!) but it's a chance to lose the tourists and several days stuck on a bus. Loc and Tin Tin have so many funny (and sad) stories about Vietnam and their experiences of the war so it should be entertaining. We've already bought some sweets to bribe the children of the minority villages with so I think we'll be ok!

Not sure what the internet coverage will be like in the jungle so see you in four days in Hoi An, where we're going to get a whole new wardrobe made up for a few dollars yay!
