Am catching up with your blog and photos after the holiday in Tenerife. The blog is really well written and entertaining - maybe journalism beckons? You both look really well.

I have caught a throat bug which is prevalent down in London - it started to take hold towards the end of the holiday.

We had another work Christmas meal today for managers, following the general one which was at a Tapas bar earlier this month. This time we went posh! I had wild boar starter, followed by pheasant and individual (alcoholic!) trifle. There were also some more minor tasters between the courses and all followed up by coffee and special mince pies. We provided our own vintage wines, but had to pay £15 corkage per bottle - it was worth it though, because a couple of the managers are wine experts and their collections are better (and more affordable) than the restaurant.

Hello,yeah i saw it got delayed because of an accident in a tunnel and they had to get a ferry:-)

Might need to email mark about camera,maybe extrending warrenty might be a good idea! how much is it? when i plug camera in to upload photos it has been saying hardware error and cannot upload photos,but if i take the card out the camera and plug it directly into the computer in a card slot the photos go on ok. But most computers here dont have the option to plug cards directly in so we arent able to put photos on as often at moment

Annas card has arrived today but mine hasnt yet so i'll keep you updated as to when it comes!

Went to australia zoo yesterday and was really good,you'd enjoy it there! look out for some blog and maybe photos soon!

Shall I still video the match Ian or will you see it there?. just fetched tickets to man U match. ( could have done without that at the moment, what with christmas and everything). But will get no peace if I don't let him go ( he hasn't got to have time off school as coach leaves at 4pm) will be late back though, and no doubt I will have to pick them up at a crazy time!. Well ian it looks as if you both had a whale of a time at Dreamworld. Cant believe you went on that high ride drop!!!!!!! No way would you have got me on that. The giant flip flop would have been my barrow. Touring car looked good. Hope weather picks up for you soon, (dont want to lose your tan) Nothing much to report from this end as not much happens. Grandad says hello and hopes Derby win tomorrow night.He,s hoping! Lewis was runner up in sports personality of the year, Chris Hoy won it, Rebbeca Adlington came third. Hello,yeah weather is good now,been really hot all week and its forcast to last for a while. Off to australia zoo sometime this week so that will be a good trip i imagine.

Derby game is on tv here tomorrow morning at 5.30am and where i am has the sports channel so im going to try and watch it if i can!

Touring car was good yeah,an aussie v8 one,they only pay 45p a litre for petrol here so they all drive around in big cars!

We are hoping to go surfing again tomorrow,had great weather today and has given it good out for tomorrow too!:-)

Dont know why he is looking forward to a brace!! But suppose it would be good to get your teeth sorted out so must be that he is looking forward to!

I wouldnt have been able to have time off to go to the football when i was at school! But be a good trip out up there! Cant you make it straight from school? its not a long journey really?

Ireland was interesting... Cut it short Thursday was good then Friday came i got ill and we got in a death trap taxi with a guy who had terrettes and nearly killed us :-)

There was a dog like Judy merrily running down the middle of a busy main road as I drove to Matlock this am.Strewth!!! Gone walk about no doubt.His home could well be way out to billy-o for all I know,and his owners might find he's carked it if he doesn't get off the road !!!It's ridgie didge!,no word of a lie.
I was talking to Dad earlier today about where you are going to live when you get back. Do you want to buy the house in Newton and rent out a room? Dad reckons you could get to Loughborough ok from there.

We went for a walk in the hills around Matlock today .It was lovely and sunny but very cold.-2 degrees I think. Really enjoyed it though.What a rip snorter!!

Hi Ian, Matt done my computer so that i can see you when you next go on line. Ignore the pic of me as it is awful. Dad gone to work tonight (sun) and got day off tomorrow. Hi Ian, Just shown grandad your surfing pics. Says it looks good fun, laughing when you said you had to catch a green wave, or you,d have an audience taking the mick out of you all.You both looked the part.(Baywatch look out!) Have you seen draw for semi final of carling cup? Derby got MAN U. Grandad moaning as he his on nights for both legs. Will have to try and sort something out hopefully. Yeah saw draw for Cup,shame Derby didnt get Burnley and then they would have had more of a chance of getting to the final! think man u will play reserves and still beat derby pretty easy!

I'll be able to catch a few games before end of season when i get back so hope they start playing better! Saw they lost again to palace today!

Surfing was great fun,will most likely be doing it again at some point while im here!:-)
