The Blue mountain pics. are lovely ... your blue colour even demonstrates how they got their name. Re: your pic. named 'Anna feeling chilly'.lol

I love the pics of the Chinese gardens .Such beautiful scenery there. You and Ian are looking very tanned in those pics. too.

The tour of Sydney Opera house looked very interesting. A huge amount of thought obviously went into every detail of it.

The videos are great, you fearless explorers! No doubt the steepest train ride seemed tame after your earlier adventures in the tree tops. The blog about the wait for the firewors had me in stitches..

I'm glad you went to see Barby as well.Sounds like a fun day out,and It's good to hear she's looking well.

Keith and I were over in Matlock Bath today waiting for the gas board to come and service the boiler. Got up especially early too. We waited in the freezing house for 4 hours before i phoned them to find out when they were coming. Turned out that they tried to find the house at around 9.30am. Tried to phone me too; they say. but couldn't get through...even though i had a full signal all morning.Hmmmm..they're going to return tomorrow pm.!!! Wish me luck.:@/

The blue mountains were pretty, but would have been better on a warmer day and a better tour guide I think.

The Chinese gardens were very relaxing:) I enjoyed going. Funny going all the way to Oz and seeing a chinese garden, but heh!!!!

The gas companies are always slow! and the lack of communication is terrible! So I wsh you luck!!!!

I will add more blogs tomorrow on our recent adventures, we are in Melbourne now, its 370C!!!!!

Computers were very rare in Tasmania! LOL and when you did find one it was a rip off!

Cool:) Are you still going to the leisure centres? I have frozen my membership, so will be able to go to cotgrave as soon as im back and pay the same price I was before.

The ducks were so cute! They didnt speak to us, so Im not sure,lol We saw some other ducks as well last week, one was a lot bigger than our british ducks! Had blue eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

That will be great! Be fun to have a girly night out :) My dad or Ians dad might be picking us up :)

lovely chinese pictures looks so peaceful.hope your camera is ok, will probably be able to fix it when you get back, Mark may be able to do it for you as the warranty has now ran out.Matt has only got to have 2 teeth out but cant fit brace till march!. He has to wear it for 2 years, then a retainer brace for another year.Going to be back and forward to nottingham every 6 to 8 weeks to have it tightened.( bet you are glad you didn't take that route Ian).Hope you have a great time in tasmainia and hope you manage to post some picture. Hello,not been able to get on comp in tasmania as no computer places there! its very quiet.

The camera card was infected with a virus in sydney! managed to get it fixed in a shop for a few dollars and the photos onto a disc so they arent lost. But we are a bit concerned as to where we plug camera and card in now as dont want another one! so may not be able to update photos so often unfortunately. Shame as got some great photos of tasmania to put on.

In Melbourne now where it is thankfully a lot warmer than tasmania was most days! its 37oC here today and was barely touching 20 most days in tasmania!

Seen Derbys new manger in nigel clough and game was called off at cardiff,if they do manage to somehow beat man u at their ground can you get me a ticket to final for when i get home?

Hi Ian, Just had ook at all your new pics, they absolutely fab. How you dared to go up the blue mountains and that train i,ll never know, but what a site when you got there. So glad you went. Look forward to more of the same. Grandad pulling what hair he has left, out , listening to the match on wireless, playing Forest Green in cup. They are playing like a bunch of donkeys, Forest Green went 2 up but Derby managed to equalise 2-2 at half time. Forest are winning 2-0 against man city, earnshaw scroed the second. Saw Derby result and just seen they have forest in next round so that will be a good match to watch!

Off to tasmania next so that should be a bit cooler,camera is playing up again so hopefully be able to get some photos on of it!

I have not yet been able to view the video of the fireworks, because the necessary software is not on the office computer. I will see whether I can view on mum's or Keith's computer.

I am still suffering from the bug, but it does seem to be clearing up at last. It has left me weaker than usual, which probably makes those around me think I am more relaxed!

The Ecoflex allowance is not availably on the 1.2 Corsa, presumably because it produced emissions which are too high to count. Apart from the 1 litre, the 1.3 diesel would count. But this is a more expensive to buy (well over £1000), diesel still costs a lot more than unleaded, and mum has found that her 1.3 diesel does not deliver the quoted economy figures. The Corsa is however a very safe car with a good standard of equipment. I have not read anywhere that they are unable to keep up with the traffic flow (and they are used by driving schools) so am assuming it will be OK

I would be very happy to pick you up at Ian's house, or if necessary pick up both of you from Birmingham airport. Just let me know nearer the time.

I spent my christmas eve in Oceana Nottingham and had a good night!! For new years I went to a club in Derby called Zanzi bar which was soo crap lol! They didn't even count down for 12 oclock! So I didn't realise it was the new year until I looked at my watch and by that time it was 12.34!! Anyway I'm doing fine and I'm looking forward to seeing you soon xxx

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you both, seen the Sydney fireworks on our news tonight, hope you managed to go and see them, they looked brill. Its minus 4 degrees here at the moment and foggy(Horrid), i,d stay where you are in the sunshine ian. Billy Davis poised to sign for Forest, (wonder how long that will last). No Paul Jewell didnt get sacked, he resigned, (probably would have done) so best to go that way, looks better than a sacking. With the weather we,ve got bet most of the matches will be cancelled, Commons injured, so he wont be making trip to Forest Green, he,s a liability. Wasalways injured at forest. Bet Earnshaw wont get picked if Davis does sign for us red dogs, he didnt like him at Derby. Downloaded all your pics so i dont lose them when you get back. Those folks who were falling out and fighting on Beech Avenue, boxing day, were at the house across from Margarets. It was the visitors at there house, not the ones who live there.
