Anna's travels......
Thursday: Left Rototua on the Fun Bus. 1st stop was having a quick look at the Forest (forgotten name, sorry). All really nice but at 9am I was still trying to waking up. 2nd stop was to see a geysers, very large one, it shot up in the air to about 5 meters plus. Then we saw some boiling mud bubbling away. 3rd stop was Wai-O-Tapu thermal reserve, lots of geysers, vivid hot pools and more boiling mud. Walk round and saw lots of different types of pools, even saw a bright green pool, the sulphere makes then pools go all these different colours. 4th stop was to a Rock and Ropes in Taupo where you could do jumps and swings from high points. I didn\'t bother with these little things, I was waiting to be picked up for my Sky Dive from 12,000ft. (check the other postcard for details)
Friday: Todays has been good, went for a walk, on the Huka Trail. Saw the Huka falls, all really nice. Then walked up to see the Craters of the moon. Alan was moaning coz he didn\'t want to walk :) But I like my walking. All in all we only walked for 4 and half hours! What is he complaining about?!?! Haha
Taupo is really nice. All of New Zealand that I have seen so far had been so pretty. Very green. Taupo is a town on the edge of a lake bigger than Sinapore, so I have been told. The lake looks very nice and I did have a very good view of it yesterday when I did the sky dive. It looks nice from the ground also!
Off to the pub tonight. Meeting our friends from the fun bus. Fancy a good drink tonight!
