Hi all. Okay, I was finally prompted to say a few words, when I discovered Ant's.... in my bed!!! yes, portia laughed too - because there was only about 6 of them. But hey.

I'm now in Koh Phangan, but I thought I'd update you on my thoughts of Bangkok. Well, to be honest, it was hot, sweaty and busy. Portia waded through the traffic in the roads across the rubble on the pavement and all the people selling things. To be fair, I was very tired, very very tired, so I don't really think I can make a proper decision on it - but I'm glad to get out. We booked our ticked on the night train - and I started to fee much better!

 The flights there were fine, just very long! At Doah I was amused by one proposal of marriage and the title of the 'Whitest person alive' - Rugby lads on tour! 

To be honest, I followed poor portia around like a puppy - I'm still not sure I'm cut out for this travelling thing - I think I'm getting way too old. I'm missing my 4* hotels and luxuary items - like chocolate and toilet roll ... ;)

 Anyways, Having too much fun on the beach here to ramble for too long.

We also had a bit of a nightmare few days, with lost cameras and burned chins, grazed knees.. etc. But I'll leave that bit for Portia.
