We arrived in Saigon (Ho chi minh) very early yesterday morning after a long overnight bus journey. I stayed with the luggage and had a cup of tea whilst Portia braved the streets to look for a room for us both. After seeing several over priced holes (they wanted 17$ in some places!), we managed to find a nice room above the booking office after a long wait whilst they cleaned the room and some breakfast. After a Cat nap, we headed out in search of the Markets...

Hello! I have been a little bit slack on the blog and Portia even threatened to change the name to Portia's escape - mean, I know! So she's off to the pub whilst I type away - it's a hard life!On the plus side, I did manage to put on a few photos, but only a few sorry as it takes so long. I'm actually in Laos now, but I thought I'd best go back a few days to catch up! Kanchanaburi - is where the bridge over the river quai is and is a fantastic place to visit...

sorry not the best at up dating this, but the full moon party was fun although so many drunk people, meet a great group of people, although anita decided to go swimming with them and that included her camera, so we are camera less!! We went on a boat trip round the island to see a waterfall and snorkling anita took a while to get us to it but loves it now, had lunch on bottle beach, really pretty. I will write more tomoz about Koh PhiPhi, more stories including...
