Day 26,27,28 (5/04 - 7/04) Wahay, been travelling for a month now. Its going great. Wednesday was our last day in Vang Vieng. Spent most of the day rock climbing with Len from Canada and Maria from Argentina.Heren went early to Vientienne with Tom, another Canadian. Was good fun, and painful. My arms still ache. And i have been bitten atleast 25 times :S Yes, i counted, lol. There were 6 different climbs in total. Each one harder than the last. Managed to do 5 of them. The last one was impossible,neither of us could do it. Was a kind of an overhang...i was too weak at the point to be able to do it...well i am prob too weak to do it in general, lol. Oh well, atleast i tried. Got back to town, and and an hour later got the public bus to Vientiene, the capital. Was asleep most of the way so dont know how the journey was, but Maria was saying we had a crazy nutcase driver, and was just as bad as the other bus journeys. Found some accommodation, and havent done a singe thing since...except eat, sleep, play cards..oh and bowling with Len and Heren. Tom and Maria left for Bangkok yesterday. Last night we had torrential rain for a while, and thunderstorms and lightning, with the loudest thunder i've ever heard. Was quite cool. Weather is quite nice today. its cloudy, but much cooler and more bareable. Its currently 2.15pm here, and we leave for Vietnam at 6pm. Flight is at 8pm, and should arrive in Hanoi at about 9.45pm.
