Day 23,24 (2/04 - 3/04) Hey guys, quick update. Went and saw the waterfall yesterday in Luang Prabang. Was gorgeous. The best i've seen. Surrouduing area seemed like paradise. Clear blue pools aswell. I climbed to the top aswell and saw some amazing views. Later we left for Vang Vieng on a bus. About a 7 hours nightmare jounney along mountain roads. In my opinion the most dangerous journey i've had. So mant times i though a car or lorry was going to crash in to us we went round bends. I even jumped out of seat in one instance. Scared the life out of me. Later on we saw a small truck lying on the cliff face. It was carrying motor bikes, and had fallen off the side. We stopped to have a look. Bikes were damaged, and they people carrying them back up the hill. Dunno think anyone was hurt though. After that, i couldnt wait till we reached. Got to Vand Vieng safely, and found a guesthouse. A nice one that was cheap and satisified both me and heren so all was good. Today, we went tubing. So much fun. Basically just sit in huge rubber ring and float and paddle yourself down the river whilst stopping off at river side bars for some drinks. The would throw a bamboo stick out to you and pull you in. Some good music being played aswell. We were out for about 5 hours. And i BURNT!!! Me!!! That should not happen! lol. I think im a lot darker now aswell. Vang Vieng is a very nice town. A miniture Khao San Road, but a lot more relaxed and has mountains surrounding it. I would say it is a beautiful town, but the whole place is just one big construction site. You can clearly see its a developing country. Though the views when floating down the river were amazing. Don't have photographs though, but one of the guys in our group has a waterproof camera so i'll try get some photos from him. Anyways, off out for some food now Take care guys
