Staying in a student hostel in Brisbane which is empty of students it being summer and Christmas, hard for a northern girl to understand. It's an old Queensland, colonial house, on Highgate Hill, with a view of the city. Walked to the South Bank which is similar to London with galleries and eateries, except that this one has a beach and pool.
