Chefchaouen was one of the main reasons for this trip. I’d seen photos some time ago and it furthered my interest in visiting Morocco. We had two nights here and I was very excited to spend hours exploring this charming little village. The hotel we stayed in was only a few minute walk from the entrance to the Médina, which made exploring easy, safe and quick! I could have spent days wandering the little alleyways, exploring new corners and the odd little Hobbit doors I found. Not to mention all the kitties running around just waiting for some love! Chefchaouen was magical, I could have easily stayed for several more days. The food continues to be excellent and I’m enjoying some new flavours and making notes of new favourites to try once I get home!
