We had another overnight train that we got off at 3.45am - so not really sure that classes as an overnight train - but thankfully was much better than the last, even had a western toilet! We left Hoi An and headed to Hue, visiting Marble mountain and Highland pass on the way. The weater spoilt the views slightly but both were nice to see - bit of an issue with the elevator tickets but we got there in the end! Well what a day. . . woke up to very heavy rain and it just got heavier as the day went on. Well not sure how but we managed to survive the train. It was pretty minging but after we had shoed the flies away and removed the dirty sheets from the beds it was kinda manageble. . .On the plus side if we forgot where we were the beds were quite comfy!!
