Our return journey back to Lhasa involved taking a longer route back to visit such sights as a glazier. At that point we reached our highest point of just over 5000m.

We had various stops on the way back to view the scenery which was stunning, breathtaking plus many more words that don't adequately describe what we saw.

Photos don't really do it justice and yes the lakes were that blue!
