We left the train at 6, ate a full English breakfast (thai style) and headed to Krabi. Arriving at 10, we were soon heading to the main beach. We bought a frisbee and bat and ball which kept us amused for the afternoon. For supper that evening I had a tuna burger which was different, before heading to the Chang bar (because Dave got free drinks) and then the Luna bar.
40 minutes after getting on the speed boat we had arrived at the first phi phi island where we snorkelled around the boat (the coral and sealife was amazing)before heading to the beach where we saw the fattest monkey ever. We then travelled to the cove where 'The Beach' was filmed, played ultimate frisbee and went for a walk in the jungle. The island of Phi Phi (made famous by James Bond) was where we stopped for our buffet lunch, it was absolutely beautiful! This is where I found out that both Alice and Amy both did the IB, and that their scores were alot higher than mine! We then went for a snorkel in open water before heading to the last island forpineapple and a swim! That evening after being served by a lady boy for supper we again went to the same bars at the night before but the drinks flowed which therefore led to a better night!
After waiting about an hour for tunaless baguettes and a 20 minute boat ride we finally arrived at Railay Island, early afternoon. We ended up leaving the first beachbecause it was so shallow and rocky in the water. The second beach though was idyllic, but unfortunately my bag got wet and destroyed both my camera and phone, so I was unable to take any photos! That evening we went to a bar made out of a Vw camper before again going to the Luna Bar. Tom and I bought spicy beef noodles from 7/11, they were soo spicy...I cried!
After a lazy morning, mostly spent in bed, we headed to the main beach for a last swim in the afternoon. For supper we went to a Thai-Swiss restaurant where the tomato/ potato salad was divine! Before bed we had a quick game of poker ( I was first out)!
