The day started early, I woke up when I dropped a plate of noodles in the restaurant. From there we headed to a floating market, geared for the tourists though. Before heading to Kanchanaburi to see the bridge over the River Kwai. On the other side of the bridge Tom and I fed an elephant. Fearing that if we didnt it wouldnt be fed! Aboat ride down the river to the restaurant was great fun if a little uncomfortable. Back in Kanchanaburi we went to the war museaum about POWs building the Death railway and then the cementary opposite. We then caught the bus to where we caught the overnight train, having enough time to eat at the local market before hand. On the overnight train we headed straight to the disco carriagewhere the head bar man was a scary he/she! We drank, had arm wrestles ( I lost all of mine)and ended up singing karoeke to such songs as Aerosmiths 'Donmt wanna miss a thing'.
