Hola! Well, we've made it to our final destination of this 6 month jaunt, and what a destination!!!!! Rio is spectacular! We have been here since Monday, arriving from Ilha Grande by boat/bus combination - by the way - Ilha Grande - perfect place to get away from it all! We are in paradise!!! This place is GORGEOUS! Staying in a great hostel which is only a tenner a night, including breakfast, surrounded by atlantic rainforest and white sandy beaches with turquiose sea! ooooo!!! We arrived yesterday by boat from Angre dos Reis, and just mooched around town and ate ice cream, whilst observing a very entertaining fight between a huge crab and a dog! WE ARE BORED! Been in Paraty a week now, and we've pretty much exhausted every possible activity you can do here in the rain! We are currently watching the film 'Cars' for the second time in two days!
