Back in Malargue, which after Uyuni, is probably the deadest town in South America! Feels particularly unlively after a weeks skiing! So spending all day on the net, updating the blog and emailing everyone!

ONE DAY TO GO TIL WE GO SKIING!!!! We are currently in Malargue, which is an hr or so from Las Lenas, the ski resort. Got here by way of two buses from Bariloche, changing at San Rafael, where we spent a cold three hours sat in a coffee shop drinking our own weight in java in the early hours of the morning. So, we had another spectacular journey, this time through the snow covered peaks and forests of the lake district. It was also the shortest, only 2hrs! We got here a couple of hours ago and have found a nice hostel, thanks to a friendly local guy, which has only just re-opened after refurbishment, so we are the only ones in it! We have a good view out to the mountains and the lake that the city is on the shores of, and the room is very comfy and warm, thankfully...
