WOW! The Inca trail was absolutely amazing! We can honestly say that it was the hardest walk we have ever done - our legs are still sore and our shoulders are aching from carrying our backpacks, but man it was worth it! 15/04 22/04 - perhaps the most amzing 8 days of our lives! We've been jungle explorers! After sparking minor panic amongst those at home due to maxing our debit card limits, we made a last minute decision to take this trip to the Manu Reserve with Manu Ecological Explorers! Despite having stomach issues - the Colca Canyon was amazing!The descent down to the bottom of the canyon was steep to say the least! Lots of loose, slippery rocks with a 1000m drop or so on one side! Very scary, but amazing views!
