We made it!! We landed in Ho Chi Minh City last night and made our way through the chaos of the city to our beaut little hotel- 'Happy Inn'. There are soooo many scooters here...its just amazing. Today we are taking it easy...kicking back with a sleepin, a coconut shake. Its Andy's b'day today!! - just had a tiger beer on our balcony! cost a whole .80c. We have booked a tour for tomorrow around the city to check out the historical stuff and our plan is to take a 3day tour into the Mekong Delta on Friday to end up in Cambodia around about monday. anyway....we are still trying to get a grip on the noise, the smell and the never ending sights, touts and heat. all in all- its a beaut first day! definatley an awesome city. got to go start on the birthday drinks ;) luv to you all lots, amyxxxxx
