Hi guys, been in Hong Kong since Saturday but first let me retract to my last week & a half in Thailand. I spent a couple of days in Ayutthaya which as I previously said is a historic city with plently of temples (Wat's) to visit; It reminded me a little of Wells (city I went to school). Got plenty of photos of ruins & current temples in Ayutthaya, used to be capital of Siam a long time ago. Also my legs got bitten alive by mosquitos whilst there - rivers...

Hi guys, I have had a brilliant time so far, but some of these journeys are so long winded - I don't know why I don't just get a plane - oh yeah save money! Since I last blogged I went by train to Sumitthali (this was the longest journey I have had in my life; well until recently) Train arrived about an hour & half late which is generally good timing over here! Just writing this has I am waiting for the train to take me down to Surat Thani which is down South Thailand near Phuket. Will be going overnight so saves a night's accommadation aswell and I can get some much needed rest - been out most nights to god knows when. Have met plenty of people - everyone seems so friendly - and of course the bar girls are nice. Enjoyed my time in Bangkok, my first day I was given a private car tour (mainly of the old city-palaces etc)...

Just a quick message to say I have arrived safetly in Thailand, my first stop was Pattaya where I have stayed with Rod & Jom. Rod is a friend of my Great Uncle, and has been very generous to put me up. I have really enjoyed my time in Pattaya with the night scene being a highlight. Done the usual stuff like beach/bars etc. I am even learning some Thai numbers/words which Rod is helping me on but I have never been good at lingustics. Well I hope everyone is we...
