Visited the leaning tower and climbed to the top. It was a bit windy and can definitely feel the thing move. Climbing the spiral staircase on the downhill side is quite a bit easier than the uphill side which is an eery feeling.

Paulina- I was freaked out the whole time I was up that tower. In fact most places I have walked - in Rome, Pisa and Venice - I am praying that there is not an earthquake. There is a church tore very close to our apartment that is on quite a lean but thankfully leaning away from us.
grandma

Kirsten, in some places we are like the only tourists around. No waits anywhere so far except St Peters. We took a tour into the Vatican museum and lucked out. We should have just lined up and would have got straight in. No queues. But our guide had some problems getting us in, computer glitch but we got there in the end. It's memorable for all the wrong reasons.
