Today we booked a diving course to start tomorrow with two German dive instructors, Marcus (the man machine) and Jason (who was much more human!). We're doing half of the PADI diving course here and will hopefully finish it in Cairns. Tonight there was a Rum Punch Party at the hotel, which we all got excited about. As it turned out, it lasted one hour with three singers who dragged unwilling guests up to dance, Andy being one! Haha! For dinner we went to Café Coco for a meal with the German couples. Very civilized! To start with anyway... because afterwards we went to a talent contest. It was actually a televised national semi-finals talent contest and there were some very interesting acts! All sorts! A young couple ballroom dancing, a blind man singing that he likes fit girls, and three 5 year olds shaking their booties! (Everyone learnt something new that night) And there was a close up of me in the audience! Famous! We stayed for an after party which involved lots more whining. Cate was extremely popular and whined all night in my ear (not how its meant to be done) I was considering charging for dances but I chose against it in the end. Could have made a fortune though!
